Contactless setup in Google pay

Hi,

my account manager gave me below link as a guidance for installing Google Pay.

Unfortunately it doesn’t work for me - when I enter all card detail it asks to verify with the bank & then gives error ‘Can’t complete setup for contactless payment’

Can you help pls?

Are you perhaps trying to link a new card to Google Pay? If so, has your card already been used for a payment with the chip and your personal PIN in a physical store?

yes, card is activated but still that didn’t help...(

Can you verify if NFC is supported and enabled on your phone? This is needed for Google Pay to work with contactless payments.

If NFC is indeed enabled, there might be a problem with the card itself, in which case I recommend you to give us a call using the Contact-option in Easy Banking App or to call us on 0032 2 762 90 00. That way we will have access to your card and we’ll be able to see if there are any issues.
